June 7, 2026: Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ/Corpus Christi

Throughout history, God has always provided for His people.  As the Hebrews journeyed through the desert, He offered them manna and quail to feed them and show them that they should depend not just on food, but on the Word of God Who provides for our needs.

God's greatest provision to us came when Christ offered His Body and Blood as the sacrifice of the New Covenant.  Christ now feeds us with His very life, so we may live to reflect His Presence that we partake of in the Eucharist.  By faith, we now approach Him Who has come to us so that we may have life through His offering.  As a people of faith, we come together in the One Bread transformed into Christ's Body and the One Cup transformed into His Blood.

Then, we are changed to be His Body, living in His way as we offer ourselves to bring life to the world.  We experience Heaven now in the signs that Christ has offered us in the Eucharist, so we may be inspired to be His Body in the world.
