We recognize that becuase of our sins, we need mercy, which God offers us freely as a gift.
It is for us to respond to that gift, and open ourselves to transformation so that we live in mercy and live the love God has shown us and show it to the world.
This is how we can embrace rest, by living in His way of love.
And as the United States of America is consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, may love infuse our land so that we can live abundantly in a way that builds the Kingdom of God on Earth as we edify others in that love of God.
